Spaces and portals

A space is a shared 3D environment.

Networking within a space runs peer-to-peer over iroh. When you load a space, the app discovers other peers in it and connects to them.

Starting the app puts you in your home space. You can travel to other spaces by walking through a portal.

Portals

A portal is a hyperlink to another location.

When directed at a space, the portal will be uni-directional and opaque, taking you to the target space's spawn region.

When directed at a receiving portal, a bi-directional connection can be formed. Bi-directional portals open a seamless bridge between two locations, allowing objects and people to see through to the other side and travel across it.
